Spinal Braces – Support for lower back pain, disc issues, scoliosis, or post-op recovery

Knee Braces – Ideal for arthritis, ligament tears, or joint degeneration

Ankle and Foot Braces – For sprains, fractures, or drop foot stabilization

Our team will work with you to ensure the right fit, proper use, and full insurance support when applicable.

Spinal Bracing

Wearing a back brace can help support your spine, encourage better posture, and apply gentle compression to ease discomfort. By stabilizing the core, bracing gives overworked muscles a chance to relax and recover. It can also aid the healing process and shorten recovery time after an injury, surgery, or flare-up.

We carry high-quality orthopedic bracing from trusted brands like Aspen and Trend Medical to ensure the best fit, function, and support for your needs. Our care is natural, personalized, and designed to help your body heal without relying on medications or invasive procedures.

Lower Extremity Bracing

Support starts from the ground up.  At Corrective Care KC, we provide lower extremity bracing for the knees, ankles, and feet to improve stability, reduce pain, and promote healing. Whether you're recovering from an ACL tear, managing tendonitis, dealing with chronic joint instability, or looking for relief from plantar fasciitis, we offer high-quality braces designed for comfort, function, and long-term support.

Upper Extremity Bracing

Your hands and arms work hard—give them the support they deserve. At Corrective Care KC, we offer upper extremity bracing solutions for the wrists and elbows to reduce strain, ease pain, and support healing. Whether you're dealing with carpal tunnel, tendonitis, arthritis, or recovering from an overuse injury, our braces are designed to stabilize joints, improve function, and help you get back to doing what you love.

DME Process

At Corrective Care KC, we make the process of getting a brace simple and stress-free. We collaborate closely with each patient and their care team to ensure every brace is properly fitted, insurance is verified, and support doesn’t stop after delivery.

Step 1: Referrals & Evaluation

A brace must be prescribed by an MD or DO. If referred by your doctor, we’ll coordinate care from there. If you’re already a patient, we’ll provide order forms for your physician to sign. Once the prescription is received, we’ll evaluate your needs and take any necessary measurements.

Step 2: Insurance & Ordering

Once a brace is recommended, we review your insurance coverage—including Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans—and explain any out-of-pocket costs before anything is ordered. Whether it’s off-the-shelf or custom, we coordinate everything for you.

Step 3: Fitting & Instruction

During your fitting appointment, you’ll receive hands-on guidance for how to properly wear, adjust, and care for your brace. Written instructions and a wear schedule are provided, along with access to support for any questions or concerns—day or night.

Step 4: Follow Up & Ongoing Support

Most patients are seen for 2–3 visits, including a follow-up with the prescribing doctor. Adjustments are made as needed, and ongoing care is available for those who wish to continue supportive therapy to improve posture, reduce pain, and restore mobility.
